Frick Valley high-level trail

Jurapark Aargau - The Frick Valley high-level trail stretches over 60 kilometres from the beautiful old town of Rheinfelden over the table Jura plateau and the wild Tiersteinberg past viewpoints and pine forests full of orchids until it reaches Mettauertal.

Along the Fricktaler Höhenweg, you will experience the Fricktal at its most beautiful. When cherry blossoms bloom, meadows glow in yellow, and resting at the barbecue area or in the restaurant is so cozy that you would want to stay there forever. When colorful leaves cover the forest paths in autumn and in the clear winter air, the heights of Fricktal, the Black Forest, and Baselbiet rise in white towards the sky.
The Fricktaler Höhenweg stretches over 60 kilometers, from the beautiful old town of Rheinfelden to the high plateaus of the Jura Mountains and the wild Tiersteinberg, passing through light-filled pine forests rich in orchids and various viewpoints, until reaching the Mettau Valley. The entire route is estimated to take about 16 hours of walking. Naturally, such a long trail can only be completed in stages. These are described in detail in the brochure. Numerous inns and restaurants along the route provide rest and refreshment.
