The steep hike is worth it. The Eggerhorn (2503m) is one of the most scenic points in the Binntal Landscape Park, alongside the Breithorn above Grengiols.
The hike begins in the village of Mühlebach and first ascends steeply until reaching the water conduit Trusera. The path then follows the water conduit to the Binnachra, and from there descends again to the Wasen.
The hike starts from Binn through the hamlet of Wilere along the contemplation path into the Lengtal. Upon reaching Heiligkreuz, the path crosses three streams: the Chriegalpwasser, the Lengtalwasser, and the Saflischbach.
The start panel is located in Ernen near the bus stop (Wasen/Zauberwald).
From there, you walk up to Binnegga. After a short rest in Binnegga, you go down to the Trusera irrigation channel.
Snowshoe tour: The Alp Trail starts at Ernen and takes you along a route next to the sports hall in a westerly direction across a meadow. After a few hundred metres on the road, Binntalstrasse, the trail then leads through the forest.

Our young guests will find a variety of playgrounds in the Binntal Landscape Park. For example, children can let their imaginations run free at the Magic Forest adventure playground and play with natural materials.
In the Binntal Landscape Park, there are barbecue areas at selected beautiful sites. Probably the most popular one for children is the barbecue area in the Magic Forest (Zauberwald) in Wasen.

In winter a natural ice rink is operated above the village of Grengiols (in Oberdorf).
From Mühlebach, you first descend below the road towards Steinhaus. Short sections also need to be covered on the road. Near Steinhaus, a bridge is crossed, and from there, the journey continues to Niederwald.

The shortest route between Ausserbinn and Steinmatten is to take the motorway to "Lätze Üsserbi" and then continue on the hiking trail to the Steinmatten tunnel portal
Follow the former road through the Twingi gorge to the Santigläis junction. Here a hiking trail leads down to the equalising basin and then up to the settlement of Ze Binne.

The Z'Brigg group of buildings takes its name from the river crossing. The once important settlement on the Rottenbrücke is now reduced to a few buildings.

Take the postbus to Mühlebach or Steinhaus or park in Steinhaus. The starting point is at the street gallery before Steinhaus. From there, the cultural trail leads back to the village of Steinhaus and on to the former hamlet of Richulschmatt.

The SAC Binntalhütte is situated at an altitude of 2275 m, 20 minutes from the Italian border. The hut has 50 places (dormitory), is open all year round and from June to September the hut is the guarded.
