Landschaftspark Binntal - From the car park in Fäld, it takes 20-30 minutes to get to the Lengenbach mineral quarry, which is one of the ten most famous places in the world where minerals are found.
From the Fäld car park, it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to reach the Lengenbach mineral mine, which is one of the ten most famous mineral sites in the world. The mine is the best-known mining site for minerals and has been used for scientific purposes for over 100 years. Unfortunately, there is hardly any mining activity at present, so there is little stone material available for our guests to work on with hammer and chisel at the "knocking site". Anyone who is nevertheless driven by the urge to search can hire tools from the Mineral Museum and the Imfeld restaurant in Fäld.
So that our guests don't get bored, there is a mineral washing street 150 metres up the road. With the help of washing pans, you can find coloured pieces of stone and minerals.
Physically disabled or elderly persons have the possibility of getting to the quarry with a taxi.

At eleven stations, the rocks of the Binn Valley are presented, which shape the landscape of the valley. Experiential elements such as a lithopone, a boulder or the place with the small men of stones make the trail very varied, even for children.
This circular hike takes you from Fäld up to the lush meadows of the Binn Alps on the right, and on the other side of the valley, between partially shady forests, back to Fäld.
