Mühlebach – Trusera – Wasen
The hike begins in the village of Mühlebach and first ascends steeply until reaching the water conduit Trusera. The path then follows the water conduit to the Binnachra, and from there descends again to the Wasen.
Landschaftspark Binntal - In the Zauberwald auf dem Wasen (lit: magic forest on the wet meadow) there is a great adventure trail with around 20 stations for children aged 3 to 10 to play There is also a grill place, several barbecue areas and a fountain.
The picture book "Brüna" tells the story of the squirrel that experiences all manner of exciting adventures in the forest and encounters strange apparitions. Gnarled spruce trees and moss-covered stone blocks are ideal for an adventure playground. A fir-cone lift, tree swing, suspended bridge, gorge trails and a barbecue area are provided for use by families with children.
The thematic forest, with numerous activities, aims to encourage children's imagination, creativity and openness and impart knowledge of the forest habitat. In addition to preserving the Enchanted Forest, the foundation also wants to support similar projects.
An important component of the playground is the adventure trail through the Enchanted Forest. Children have the opportunity to follow the story of the squirrel Brüna. The adventures were also published in 2009 in a multilingual double audio CD.
Fireplaces with wood are available for barbecuing in the Zauberwald.
