Ecological Museum Colombire - Tsittoret irrigation channel (Suone) - Waterfalls
The Tsittoret irrigation channel (Suone) was first mentioned in the 15th century and channels the water from the Tièche in the Noble Contrée for watering the pastures and vineyards of Venthône, Randogne, Mollens, Miège, Sierre and Veyras. Directly at the start, its waters flow down a rock face into a thundering waterfall, as if it wants to catch up with the river. From there it flows more moderately through metal conduits and finally leaves the little valley of Raspille. A uniquely beautiful landscape awaits the hiker who takes this trail.
