Parc naturel régional Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut - This trail, proposed by the Parc Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut and the communes of Châtel-sur-Montsalvens, Crésuz, Val-de-Charmey and Jaun, showcases the valley's built heritage and living traditions.

Departing from the Charmey Museum, the route heads for the hamlet of La Tzintre, a strategic location for the cheese trade in the 19th and 20th centuries, which is still home to the maturing cellars for Gruyères d'alpage PDO and Vacherin Fribourgeois PDO d'alpage. The short detour to these cellars takes you past the old forge, a popular technical stopover for the herdsmen who came to have their wheels repaired by the wheelwright or their tools by the blacksmith. After returning a few metres, the path passes along the right bank of the Jogne, below the Vanels. After La Scie, a footbridge allows you to follow the path on the left bank before crossing the Bonnefontaine bridge. At Pont du Roc, stay on the right bank towards Les Fronts, crossing the Jogne only at Praz Jean. After skirting the cantonal road for a few metres, the path follows the river again as far as Im Fang. The route then reaches Jaun via the popular routes for cross-country skiers in winter. The path arrives in Jaun by the old church. We suggest you climb up to the centre of the village and continue on the Rund um Jaun loop to learn more about its rich heritage.
