Signalization

From Balstahl, bike towards Friedhof and then follow the signs towards the Brunnersberg. Bike through the village of Höngen and uphill to the ridge. Once you've arrived at the Brunnersberg inn, follow the road downhill towards the Guldental valley all the way to Scheltenpasstrasse. From there, turn right and continue to the crossing with the Passwangstrasse. Bike for another 700 meters (uphill road with three bends) and then turn right (and be careful, there's no signpost). From there, take the tarred road downhill through Reckenkien to Mümliswil. By following the main road, you'll bike back to Balstahl across the impressive "Lobisei".

Safety advices

There isn't a lot of traffic on this road - except for the short uphill slope towards Passwang. However, please be careful and pay attention, especially in bends!
