Parc naturel régional Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut - Via Le Gruyère AOP
The starting point of this stage is Jaun’s former parish church, which is now home to the Cantorama. From here the route heads north through the village and up to the forest. The path continues along the forest edge until it reaches its highest point (altitude: 1,336 m) at the Untere Jansegg mountain café, which is open from May to the end of September. Follow the path that leads through the meadows and down to the village of Im Fang. The path continues along the banks of the Jogne river until it reaches Charmey. When you arrive in the village, you will immediately see the Caves de la Tzintre, where the famed Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP and Gruyère AOP cheeses are ripened. The stage ends not far from the ski lifts and the Charmey museum.
