Landschaftspark Binntal -

Open
The hike starts in the hamlet of Fäld and first leads across mountain meadows and through the forest to the Eggerebode.

Subsequently, the trail continues to Hanschbiel. At Hanschbiel, an old alpine hut has been transformed into a small open-air museum, where much can be learned about alpine farming of the past. The path then continues gently but steadily uphill beyond the tree line. At "Gand," the route turns left and traverses barren alpine pastures in a sweeping arc to Gandhorn. From Gandhorn, the fantastic panoramic view over the Binntal valley and the wild Fäldbachtal valley can be admired. With a bit of luck, you may observe one of the rare Red-billed Choughs, which makes itself noticeable by its distinctive call. The return journey leads via Schinerewyssi in a circular hike back to Fäld.
