Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois - Explore six Regional Nature Parks along La Route Verte, which takes you from Schaffhausen to Geneva to discover the living landscapes of the Jura Arc. Stages 6 and 7 cross the Jura vaudois Park.
This next-to-last stage starts from Val-de-Travers, whose famous absinth is exported to trendy New York bars. While you're there, visit a distillery and taste the different versions of this elixir that was prohibited for many years, and hear some delightful tales of how this ban was avoided. From there, proceed south through the Aiguillon mountain pass that overlooks the wild gorges of the Orbe river and the spectacular Saut du Day. From the Mont d'Orzeires pass, you arrive in the Jura vaudois Nature Park and go alongside the Joux Lake from the village of Le Pont to Le Sentier.
