UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch   - Experience a journey into the depths of space and discover the fascination and infinite vastness of our cosmos with your own eyes.

Galaxy, Milkyway and Mars could easily be confused with chocolate bars or smartphones from the modern age. However, they are a fascinating part of our cosmos and the infinite expanse of space. Not only researchers are fascinated by the view into the universe.

At the Oberberg Observatory on Geishalde, far away from the light and noise, you have the opportunity to experience the fascination of the universe with your own eyes. Whether it's lunar craters, planets, the Pleiades or the Orion Nebula - you can marvel at these astronomical wonders with the 2400 mm Newtonian telescope you built yourself at the observatory.
